Lake View Inn

The man at the check in desk was super nice and helpful. The room was clean. The location was great as far as getting where I needed to go. There are a lot of restaurants nearby (probably a couple within walking distance but I didn't pay attention to that as I drove everywhere). It was in my price range. I was using the room as a place to crash in the evening (getting in late and leaving early) and it suited my needs perfectly.

Nice, non-corporate, family owned motel located near-but not on - Lake Granbury. Standard 2 story, outside hallway motel with ample parking. Large swimming pool-party area is a major focal point. Rooms are fairly large size with sufficient furniture. Small TV with low illumination made it hard to watch TV, but we weren't there for that, so didn't matter much. Refrigerator and microwave worked well, but coffee machine was missing the little plastic tray needed to put the coffee pack into, so we had to make coffee the way you make a cup of tea. Otherwise, things were good. Breakfast was standard fare but adequate. The room rate was less than the nearby name brand motel/hotels and this one was easy to access and exit the busy roads nearby. We asked for and were granted a Late Checkout, which was very helpful. Our dog was with us and cost $15 more a day, but that's less than most other charge. I would use it again for business or vacation travel.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I liked the step in shower very much because I am recovering from hip replacement surgery .

The room was spacious, as was the pool. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The sunset view was so striking even my 12 year old grandson was impressed and called his younger brothers to see it.

Comfortable clean spaces. Pool was salt water which was nice.
